Amy Weirich Celebrates Black History Month By Putting A BLM Leader In Prison For Six Years For Voting
By now you’ve heard the news – Shelby County District Attorney General Amy Weirich successfully prosecuted Pamela Moses, a Black woman and a leader in the Memphis Black Lives Matter movement, putting her in prison for six years.
Why? Because she voted in a haze of confusion created by public officials over whether she was eligible to vote given her felony record. [By the way, most people–Democrats and Republicans alike–support allowing people to vote after they return home from jail or prison]
